For a perfect understanding of the privacy policy, some definitions are necessary.
Legal basis: The legal basis for data processing is the element that legitimizes the processing. Data processing is lawful only if it is based on one of the six legal bases provided for in Article 6 of the GDPR.
Personal data: Personal data is any information that allows the identification, directly or indirectly, of a natural person. It is not only your civil status. The means of identification can be physical (e.g.: a photograph) or refer to the person (e.g.: an IP address, a personalized code, etc.).
Purpose: The purpose of processing is the reason why the data is collected and processed.
Partner: Refers to any entity related to the Company, and who accesses and/or processes personal data collected by the Company. It may be a data controller, a processor, a joint controller or a simple service provider.
Processing: Refers to any operation on personal data (e.g.: collection, recording, transfer, etc.).
The legal basis for processing is:
- contractual performance for orders (Art. 6, 1(b), GDPR),
- the legitimate interest of CADIOU INDUSTRIE for advertising operations, recruitment operations and audience tracking and analysis (Art. 6, 1(f), GDPR);
- consent, for sending advertisements not similar to the products you have ordered (Art. 6, 1(a), GDPR).
Mandatory or optional nature of data collection
Data collection is mandatory to fulfill the purposes for which it is processed. Processing is limited to what is strictly necessary to fulfill these purposes.
- Purchases, services, and customer accounts: Data includes, in particular, your civil status, address, bank details and purchase history.
- Applications: We process the data you provide when you apply for a job. This data includes your civil status, date of birth, contact details, professional training and diplomas, desired position. It may include other information depending on your CV and cover letter.
- Contact forms: When you fill out one of our contact forms on our website, the data entered is recorded with your IP address and browser characteristics, for audience tracking and analysis purposes.
- Statistics and audience measurement: Visits to our site are recorded quantitatively (number of visitors, etc.). No personal information is recorded by the audience tracking service.
What data processing allows
The processing of your data allows us to:
- Manage the provision, payment and delivery of your purchases (goods or services).
- Carry out marketing operations and send advertisements by email to our customers who have not objected or who have accepted.
- Carry out recruitments.
- Track and analyze the audience.
Your data may be transmitted in particular to our subcontractors and service providers, but only for the purpose of fulfilling the purposes previously listed. We do not sell your personal data but it may be processed by service providers to achieve the purposes stated above.
Maison Cadiou undertakes to require its subcontractors to comply with regulations relating to the protection of personal data. During processing, we take all reasonable measures to protect them against any loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. If an incident affecting their integrity or confidentiality comes to its attention, it must inform you as soon as possible and communicate the corrective measures taken. Access to site data is protected by https, with enhanced security by IP address filtering for access to form archives.
If you enter your information on our site, you will be offered to save your name, email address and website in cookies. If you have an account and log in to this site, a temporary cookie will be created to determine if your browser accepts cookies. It does not contain personal data and will be deleted automatically when you close your browser. When you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data. It simply indicates the ID of the article you have just edited. It expires after one day.
Embedded content allows content from another site to be displayed on our site. Our site may include such content (e.g. videos, images, articles from FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, YOUTUBE, PINTEREST). Embedded content from other sites behaves in the same way as if the visitor were visiting that other site. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking tools, track your interactions with this embedded content if you have an account connected to their website.
Your data will be retained and may be processed until the end of the contract. It will then be archived for the duration of the limitation periods set by the laws governing our relationship or by any laws requiring us to retain, process or transmit it, in particular for the benefit of any authority entitled to require us to retain, process or transmit it.
If you decide that you no longer wish to receive advertising from us, you can contact us by writing to the data controller designated below.
You have the right to obtain confirmation that your personal data is or is not being processed and, when it is, you can:
- access it by requesting its communication and any available information about its source,
- in the event of a contract modification, and unless it has already been brought to your attention by the data controller who must do so, you can request all information about the new purposes as well as the categories of data related to them and their recipients, in particular if they are established in a state outside the European Union or within an international organization,
- object to its processing, request its rectification, erasure or restriction of processing,
However, these rights must not compromise the performance of the contract, especially when the processing of your data is contractually or legally necessary or mandatory.
- You have the right to data portability, i.e. to receive it in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
-You can also request that your data be transmitted directly to a data controller.
All your requests must be addressed to the data controller designated below, via this link. They may be sent to him in any form, including electronically and generally in the same form as your request.
The controller must respond to you as soon as possible and, unless contested or controlled, correct any error within 72 hours at the latest. He may require any proof to authenticate you. He may refuse to comply with your requests in the cases set out in Article 70-21-I of the law of January 6, 1978 or if they are manifestly abusive or unfounded. In any case, he must inform you. His response and interventions are made without you having to bear the cost, except in the case of a manifestly unfounded or abusive request.
